On November 7, 2010, I had the honor of participating in The Way of Knowledge Half Marathon in Budapest — an inspiring road running event that combines the joy of running with the beauty of education and heritage.
The race started and finished at Nagyvárad tér, in front of the high-rise building of Semmelweis University, and the route led us past some of Budapest’s most prestigious universities, colleges, and academies, crossing both sides of the majestic Danube River.
Along the way, we passed iconic landmarks like the Hungarian Parliament Building and the magnificent Széchenyi Chain Bridge, making the run not only a physical challenge but also a breathtaking journey through history and culture.
It was a great challenge and a memorable experience — thank you to the organizers and everyone involved. I’m truly grateful to have been a part of it. 🏃♂️📚🇭🇺
